2. Thermal conductivity, the power supply is a power product, which is to convert, manipulate and output energy. The work of the product will generate heat, such as switching tubes, transformers, electrolytic capacitors, inductors, etc. are all heat-resistant devices. The encapsulant needs to transmit the heat they generate quickly and effectively. Therefore, there is no doubt that the glue requires high-quality thermal conductivity. It can be said that the higher the thermal conductivity of the glue, the better the heat dissipation effect. Electrolytic capacitors in the power supply, the service life can be said to be cut in half for every ten degrees increase in temperature. When the temperature of the transformer and inductor is high, many basic parameters will change, and the overall design will increase the difficulty factor.
The waterproof power supply needs to be isolated as a whole, and the thermal conductivity of air is very low, generally relying on convection and radiation. Therefore, pouring glue with good thermal conductivity can be equivalent to placing each component outside the shell to dissipate heat, which not only improves the service life but also simplifies the design.
3. Insulation strength. It can be said that all glues are not conductive, but it should be noted that if the curing reaction of epoxy-based AB glue is not complete, it is likely to have some local conductivity. It's hard to say if you add sand in it to save money. First of all, whether your sand has been processed by dehydration, or whether your sand has some other elements that interfere with the solidification; whether the dosage of AB agent is reasonable, whether the mixture is fully balanced, and whether other necessary conditions are met.
4. Environmental protection requirements are generally certified. It depends on whether the products and certifications provided are the same, and the price difference between environmentally friendly and non-environmental materials is still a lot.
5. Flame retardant regulations, usually depends on the flame retardant test in UL. Normal regulation 94-V0 or more.
6. There are many other basic parameters, you need to fill it up and try it yourself. And your supplier should be constant, his supply should be stable, and the processing technology should be stable. Otherwise, the discreteness is too large.
